For the love of God how do I rest tank avg ?

I can't figure out how to reset tank avg mpg. They said press and hold the little dot button on the right side, but nothing happens. That's the only mpg option I have, so I'm not sure if there is a another mpg avg. It's 18 tundra cm

 

Selecting "DISP" button on my steering wheel till I get to Average fuel economy screen, then press and hold "DISP” button till it resets. I do this at every fill up.

 

You can not reset the tank average on a 2018, only the total average. The tank average will reset on its own when you fill up the tank......it is explained in the owner's manual.

 

Where do I find the total avg? I can't find it and I don't have the display button on my steering wheel?

 

On the info page of the display scroll down to tank average, then on the Eco app, there is a trip or total average when you press the past records button.
That is all I know. I refuse to read the manual.

 

The owner's manual is actually pretty good, I learned a lot/ But then, I need all the help I can get.

 

Sorry, I forgot the '18s have the information in the stereo setup.

 

Like someone said above, you cant reset tank avg mpg. The truck does it automatically when you fill up the tank.

 

You can add this option in the meter settings to display on main screen. then scroll to it and reset with button. Will also reset the APP on t he head unit.
