After reading about the Start-X remote in the forum I ordered one for delivery overseas .The unit arrived and it was not plug and play as the unit was "frozen" with the red programming light on.Lots of emails back and fore with Start-X who said to return it.This is not easy from a foreign country with duties etc paid.So it was then suggested I buy a Fortin Flash Link so that I could unfreeze the unit and reprogram it.Some weeks later the Flashlink arrived and eventually the unit was reprogrammed .But after a zillion emails to Start-X ,together with video clips, I have not been able to get past the final programming stage. I get to the ...connect the unit with the programming button pushed.Wait for the red blue light etc but...after that, when I have connected all the wires, I press the programme button twice and a red & blue light flashes....never goes out and new programmes.IF (in desperation) I ignore the instructions and insert the key into the ignition (on. position) whilst doing the final programme(after pushing the programme button 2 times on the connected connected unit ) it appears to programme...solid blue light flashing. Then out side the locked vehicle the vehicle cranks but does not fire up like it is still immobilised ? Start-X are out of ideas and Fortin did not reply to my email...so kinda stuck and frustrated really so any help much appreciated. Thanks
