So I read that the Fox shocks on the Pro are only good for 50k miles or so. I'm only halfway there on my 3rd Gen Pro. But what are other Pro owners feelings about rebuilding or getting something different?

50k of straight high speed run in the dirt. I put over 100k on a set when I had a dclb Tacoma and it was still good. 90% street.

    Too many mods to come

how'd you determine its still good? lol Even on the street shock oils get used as the suspension moves. You can get the rebuild and freshened up.

30-50k is usually recommended rebuild regardless if it's street use. 50k miles of dirt would be insane, if you go hard in the dirt it's like 5k for a rebuild, maybe even less. Just because the shock looks fine doesn't mean the insides haven't been beat to death. Do you hold off changing your engine oil just because the outside looks fine?

With that said, unlike an engine the shocks aren't particularly critical and usually won't catastrophically fail. I would rebuild them when they start feeling bad, which for most people is probably never. But don't think just because it's not leaking or absolutely blown that there won't be a benefit to rebuilding them earlier.

On my MTB bike I've rebuilt FOX shocks after what would constitute for perhaps 100k miles of dirt for truck. Long overdue, all maintenance schedules busted. It didn't have any internal wear, bushings were fine, oil was clean. Sure, I wiped off any dirt and blew grime off the seal after every ride, but still it was tough use for the bike. I managed to crack the frame in two places and destroyed the frame bearings, not counting my ribs and neck, yes, but FOX stood well. I don't think you can wear them quicker than regular shocks. They are built to take some serious abuse.

The 50k rebuild is recommended for 100% of street use. See Fox's charts below. Like mentioned by Ray, your shock is getting hot and breaking down the oil and nitrogen well before a seal will start leaking. And honestly you may not feel your suspension performance getting progressively worse, because you're used to it. Put fresh shocks on or rebuild them, and you'll notice.
Getting them rebuilt is definitely the more economical route. But, could require you to be without your truck for a bit.
In reality, you could keep using them until they start leaking, you're just not getting the best performance from them.

Stock, with a few cosmetic mods.
I asked the same question a while back. It was recommended to me to find a local shop to do the rebuild to keep turn around as quickly as possible.

Seems to be that shops who will rebuild the Raptors Fox shocks will also do the TRD Pro Fox shocks.
I had J-TECH Motorsports in Tucson do mine.
