What ATs did you buy?

 

Firestone Destination X/T's in 285/65/20. I wanted a Three Peak Mountain rated tire (I live in the PNW) that didn't weigh a ton. The Firestones fit that bill and I have been impressed with them.

 

That’s a great size tire. I chickened out and went 275/65-20 when I had my 20s.

 

Hey ain't no shame in 275's. The 285's were not easy, plug and play on OEM wheels. Took a 2" lift and 1" wheel spacers to get them drivable. Even now they still very gently kiss the mud flaps. But I'll take the rare rub over sandblasting the side of the truck.

 

Awesome, I picked up the Destination AT's (truck is being driven a lot on highway currently) and have been extremely impressed and was really considering the X/T's when I can do a more off road AT. Might check back with you in 6 or so months and see how they are doing. I had K02's and their wet traction was horrendous, even when new, its so weird having these Firestone Destination's and not fish tailing anymore.

 

I will concur that the KO2's aren't my favorite tire. I commute daily about 30ish miles, and took my wife to the airport this morning in about 1/2" of slush snow and have nothing but positive comments about the X/T's. If they wear well these will make it to a follow on set when these wear out.

 

I'm about to replace my KO2s, I'm leaning towards the new Falken A/T4W in 275/60/20. They are in stock and better priced at my local discount tire. I'm a bit uneasy with them being a new generation, but most people liked the A/T3's.

 

Still have 'em! Price lowered, I will take an off the shelf Coors, doesn't even have to be refrigerated.

 

Bumping these in case anyone needs a set, get these out of my garage!

Damn I agree. Heck of a drive to go grab them. Try the book face marketplace. I don’t use it but I imagine they’d go quick. Might could even get 2 sets of beer from there.
