    Howdy!

I recently damaged my front bumper when I got it hung up on a small tree stump. I have all the new parts here almost installed, but the last piece is the plastic valance that separates the two bumper ends. Got any idea how install it? I attempted to install the little slide bolts first, stab through the bolt holes on the bumper ends, but my hand and wrench will not fit around the other side to secure it. Thoughts?

    Too many, but not enough....
I took one apart recently to install a ironman bumper. I took the stock one apart to ship. I believe you will have to take the ends off and install off the truck. Unless you have a small handed wife handy with tools lol.

I changed one for a friend took off the lower plastic inner fender cover behind fog lights, then removed fog lights, just have to be careful snapping out plastic piece that holds fog lights in bumper. if you damage them fog lights wont stay in bumper. going from upper side of bumper, under bumper and thru fog light holes was able to get to all nuts, also had to remove grill. I used a short 10 mm open end 7 box wrench.

It’ll be hard without taking off the caps. Thing is though, I snapped all the plastic inserts holding onto the cap. If you remove the crossmember in front of the radiator, there is 1 trim clip and 6 10mm (or 12mm) under there that will hold the valence in place - along with 3 12mm nuts on the bottom.

So the valence stays in place and looks fine with the 6 snapped clips on the bumper ends?

Haven’t had a problem since. Recently took of my RCI skids to repaint, and they’re just attached on the bottom with zip ties. Lol, should be any issue, cause it gets sandwiched with the grill trim clips anyway. You can’t get the lower valence out without taking the grill off.
