front camera failure

anyone had their front camera fail yet? Mine is randomly going in and out, looks like a pink ant race on the screen when it is not working. no rhyme or reason as to when or why. i can sometimes just cycle the ignition and it will work again. I thought it may be a water issue so i blew the harness out with an air compressor and ran a bead of silicone around the connector, but the problem came back a couple of days later.

 

I'm not sure if we have the same system but my system was purchased from Trail Grid Pro, and soon after install, the camera would sometimes not work and progressively got worse; but my screen is just black. Just recently I was going to plug in a replacement camera to check and noticed the connection (wire connector on the same line as the camera) was lose, then it worked again. Problem with it was the camera was now upside down. I tried putting back together the tiny camera wires and after testing that, the camera stopped working again. So I'm now without the camera again but haven't tried the replacement.
It's been frustrating as I really want that view.

 

Just jumping in this thread, not sure if anyone’s had the same issues. But while leaving the gas station yesterday I get a message saying my front facing camera isn’t working! Dammit! Then I remember, I don’t have a front facing camera. I am hoping it was just yesterdays heat that set it off and it’s back to normal today… but anyone without a camera experience this issue?
