** the towel is not just laying in there. It is rolled a certain way to create pressure on the door panel to absorb the vibrations caused by expanding and contracting of the door panel/speaker area. **

I have had a rattle in my front door that literally has been driving me crazy and was about to just trade the truck in. This morning after thinking of all sorts of stuff I just shoved a bath towel into the door and turned up the songs with bass. All of the rattle noise is gone. I do have a dark gray microfiber fluffy towel that I will be replacing the bath towel with and only in the red section so the passengers still have access to the bottle holder area. Also I am going to get the muslogy set so all has real rubber to sit things on. Hope this might help some. I do plan on having my speakers changed out and all 4 doors fully dynomatted in the future but for now this is a life saver.

it cut my rattles by 80%. On certain mid frequencies and due to lack of proper magnet and dynomat I believe to have a small rattle behind the handle from the little plastic plate. I think if I replaced speakers and dynomated all doors it would be almost perfect. Overall today just going to grab lunch has been 1000x better.

this would not be a problem at all if toyota had the bass out of the sub and not the doors, but alas, they refuse to change that

The inserts in the door handle that are felt on top and hard rubber on the bottom vibrate. I put the driver side in the passenger side face down, so the felt touches the plastic and the hard rubber faces up and put the passengers in the driver side door, the same way face down, this seems to have solved a lot of the vibration I get

My only rattle (so far) is on the drivers door up where the window switches are located, the rattle is due to bass. If I rest my hand or arm on the switch area while rattling it will stop. I opened up the switch panel and applied a rubber seal that I had laying around. So far it seems to have worked. I was short on time so I'll probably add more for good measure

I bought one of those 24pc black rubber insert kits for all the door pockets, trays and cubbys. Stopped all those vibes.

This is the exact issue I have. On my last Tundra it was on the passenger side and during my first service the dealer added silencer tape and poof gone. Planning to do the same for this one.

But considering the dealers’ selective and short term memories, I may give this a shot.
