I own the 2015 Toyota Tundra TRD SR5. I have a 3" lift. I have Fox Shocks Reservoir 2.0 rear with Firestone Air Bags Suspension. Rear and Front are set 40" inches from the ground to fenders. I have purchased Fox 2.5 shock Coilover 3" lift with BDS upper control arm. Have not installed the front yet. The question is do I need to adjust the coil-over if so how many inches do I need from top to base to get true measurements 40". Attachment the picture below. I appreciate your help. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

And also To increase the lift ride height is turn clockwise to compress the spring?

I’m installing my Fox 2.5s (0-3”) and assumed they’d be set to the right height (3”). However my mechanic reached out because one has about 1/2” more preload than the other. Instructions say nothing about this. Also there is no tool in the kit to rotate the preload collar.

Should they be set the same ? Are there guidelines for how many threads are visible for 2” vs 3” lift ?

    thanks

Mine came with zero preload. It all depends on your truck and setup as to how much preload is needed for certain ride height. And yes, no spanner wrench is supplied with Fox shocks. Kind of annoying really.
Depending on if you have a bumper, skids, etc. and what ride height you want; set them at the same and start there and crank them up.
I read that the rule of thumb is 1/2 inch of preload equals roughly 1 inch of lift.
