Does anyone know of a different brand of front mudflaps that are flat and don't stick out? My tires rub on the factory ones. I would like to retain a front mudflap but needs to be very slim. Here is the factory one.

I took all of mine off. What little help they are wasn’t worth the look they gave my truck.

How much rub? If minimal let it rub itself off.

I had taken my front mudflaps off, but when rock chips started to show up I put them back on. I trimmed them down and used push in clips to keep them close to the body. No rubbing and no rock chips.

I had Roc Blox mud flaps on my Tacoma and 4Runner years ago. Depending what tundra you have the front should fit and sit tight to the truck. I want to put them on my Pro but there web site says the rears won’t work with the TRD exhaust.

I ended up trimming the front mudflaps some and they clear now. It should still keep debris off the body as before. I would like to see the Roc Blox installed on the front to see how they look. The standard size not the oversized.

I did something similiar but had to make sure the flaps extended far outside the body. My wheel offset and 37" tires throw up a lot of road debris. I built the flaps using semi-truck mud flaps and designed them to look like RokBlokz.IMG-2461.jpg IMG-2475.jpg

Looks great, i have a few miles of dirt roads and Minnesota don't like anything made out of steel.

I cut mine off along the mold shape transition line so the "flap" is history, but the body/cab mount is shielded from mud build up. Then heated with a propane soldering torch to flatten them a little bit. End result, "finished" look and no crap building up in the voids around the cab mount.

I received a email back from Rokblokz yesterday stating that they are using a different material but they do not know for sure how long they will last if you have a Pro. She said they are looking for feed back if you test a set out. So there is no guarantee they will work with the Pro not melting.

I was running 285/75R18 Ridge Grapplers and trimmed my front mud flaps to keep the tires from rubbing. I just used a stainless steel screw on the very bottom inner screw and the factory screws for the two outer screws.

I did this at first and my truck was getting pelted with rocks and mud. The flap wasn't doing jack...

I didn’t seem to have problems with the set up….. it’s practically free….. but understand it may not be for everyone.
