3.5' RC lifted struts with RC UCA Alcan rear leaf spring upgrade with 300lbs added weight+1" lift built in. Adjustable Alcan Shackles set to add an extra inch which equals to a 2" lift in the rear. 37” Maxxis RAZR M/Ts with 1.5” spacers 8” BAMuffler Tuned by Bully Dog Tuner
I have 3.5” up front and 2” in the back. I have adjustable shackles in the back that I’ve tried lowering but I don’t like them that low, I have quite a bit of nose dive, maybe more than factory. Is there like a 1” body lift kit that only goes on the front of the truck, or would that strain the rear cab mounts?

Couldn't recommend that as the fix. The body mounts would have to have progressively smaller spacers from front to back and would look, well goofy. Like when you backsplash and cabinets are not even with each other, but one of them is level and you can't tell which one. Changing out the rear shackles or getting a new leaf pack is probably the way to go here.

My shackles adjust a half inch down to make it a 1.5”. I have Alcan Springs that provide an inch by themselves and in my opinion have the perfect ride height, it’s just that the front is maxed out in terms of height without cutting the frame. Oh well:notsure:

4.5" of lift up front is gonna be extreme for the suspension geometry. Can't imagine you'll have any down travel left.

Plus, if you just raise the front of the cab you’ll probably end up with the top edge of the bed hitting the back of cab.
Maybe long or mid travel front suspension with longer coil overs and drive shafts???
Going back to stock rear shackles??

Which shackles are you running? Alcan makes some that adjust as well. Maybe theirs will set your back end lower but not to the point you're uncomfortable with it.

That’s what I thought. Coachbuilder also sells this but in .25 increments to correct driver side lean that I was wanting to do. You stack two of these on the driver side and one on the passenger side and they say it equals.5” of lift. Do you think that the stock LCA would have enough down travel for that? It has a little more than you may think, but it’s obviously not infinite

I have the adjustable ones, but I really just can’t make myself think it looks good. I tried to run it a few days and just thought it was too low. Just my opinion in that area tho:notsure:

Im gonna go measure in a bit without my wheel jacked up, then jack it up and see how much droop I have, then I get back

Whatever you do I wouldn't shove a 1" spacer between the front body and frame and not make the rest of the mounts equal.

Sorry if I wasn’t clear, I’m typing this kinda fast haha. The front end is the short end and kinda has more rake than factory. Im trying to get it level but would like a half inch more up front. I was just wondering if it’d be safe to add another half inch to what most people sell as max on stock suspension. I do go off-road as this is a farm truck, but I’m also in the process of making it look a lil better with some 17”s and 37s hopefully in the near future.

Kinda thought that the rest of the mounts would be strained… hopefully I can figure something in the front without breaking the bank, as well as make the truck useless

I meant maybe lower your front end to match what you've got in the back now.

Im sorry if this comes across bad, or maybe it’s me not understanding haha. It’s the other way around here. The back is higher than the front, so I would like it to have more in the front to be level, but keep my same height in the rear. If I were to lower the front it would be counter active because I would have even less than what I already have

Again....lower the rear. Lower the front to match.

You've maxed out your suspension height unless you upgrade to a higher lift setup. What's your current setup now giving you the lift you have?

I think I get what you’re saying now haha. My rear setup is rear alcan leaf springs that provide 1” of lift, plus some adjustable shackles that provide .5” or 1”. The front is about to be changed from rough country 3.5” lifted struts to some bilstein 5100s at the middle setting with blocks to get back to 3.5” at least. The only reason I haven’t done that is because I need some factory front spring for them, but I may soon. I have rc uca’s and all the dropping equipment I need of course.

I believe top setting 5100s will give you 2.5". Someone can confirm or deny. You can add a 1" CB shim to get to 3.5". If your tire is a max of 35", 2.5" is all you really need.

I plan on setting them at the middle setting because others on here say that the ride quality is nowhere near as good at the top as it is the middle and bottom. Then of course a block to get back to 3.5, then I think I’m going to get the driver side lean corrected and be at 4”

I put 3" 'leveling' spacers from rough country and I still have 3/4" of rake, drives me crazy..

From what i've read 3" in the front with stock uca's is about all you should go before getting new uca's. When I installed my 3" front strut spacers it took a lot to get the uca's down enough to bolt onto the knuckles...

I’m about 80% sure that my rough country’s used to be taller, but have sunk down, so it looks goofy. I’ll get back when I get the 5100s on

Yeah, I have rc uca’s. Idk how good they are but they haven’t broke in the big bumps and levees in our rice fields yet, so I guess that’s something haha
