So I have tried the search bar and haven't found any advice or suggestions. I'm redoing my front end and when changing the sawy bar bushings I noticed that it's rusted and the diameter is smaller the the rest of the bar. So im assuming it's time to replace it.

What are guys running? Before anyone suggests removing it I don't off road just street drive and haul.

Read Sequoia had a thicker bar cn it be used nd if so part number?

Also read Hellwig Sway Bars 7697 is a good option.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

Snice we are on the topic what do you guys think about rear sway bars?

Ok that's a huge difference in diameter, I wonder if the oem sequoia is thicker then ours.

According to @assassin10000 the OEM Sequoia sway bar is 28mm vs the 27mm your truck should have come equipped with. My older Tundra had an even smaller stock sway bar.

I think you'd get a pretty good bang for your buck going with the Addco 2181 rear kit. It costs less than the front Hellwig and might be a better balance for your needs.

I edited my post to add info/recommendation about the Addco rear sway bar kit.

Different years, suspension packages and if 2wd/4wd all play a role in what size sway bar is equipped. 24mm is not an uncommon front size for the 1st gen.

Sequoia's had 27 and 28mm bars depending on options. Tundra's had 24 or 27mm iirc.

    I added a 21mm rear bar on mine. Also a 2wd non-offroad application.

I guess I'm going to have to have to pull the trigger on the Hellwig.
