    WE'VE DONE IT AGAIN!

We have a FULL 8112/8100 kit on the shelf right now here at Hotshot Offroad. It always seems like we're waiting on a component here or there. We sent our last shop Tundra set to @WhiteRaven and just got another 2 sets in. Keeping one for myself this time though . This is the full bypass adjustable rears setup so the top dog for these shocks.

They're $4,364 for the full set, and that shipped. Tax is included in that price as well.

@memario1214 I can't believe you didn't keep the last set for yourself lol. Best decision you will ever make for your truck! For anybody else out there, if you are looking for suspension and have the money, you can't beat this setup!

Jeez, do they cook your breakfast for you as well? :)

(on a side note, each corner strut/spring/hydraulic unit of my sl550 is $4000 (for $16000) so these are cheap! buy them people!)

I encourage you to immerse yourself in the tech! They are a technological marvel, and I am confident that if you ask folks that have them... they'll attest to their everyday ride comfort as well. @Shagman82

Think about it this way - The 6112 is an excellent shock, and provides consistent compression and rebound characteristics to support a comfortable, yet sporty, day-to-day ride. The 8112 takes the performance of the 6112, and breaks it into dedicated zones which allow the shock to provide improved ride comfort in daily driving conditions. It also has dramatically improved performance at the limits, with internal pistons that allow you to hit obstacles at much greater speeds without requiring an external bumpstop - all while the truck keeps its composure/course. Of course, there's limits to any suspension, and how big of obstacles you can hit, and at what speeds. That said, these provide a lot of confidence in the driving experience. They're my favorite shock, and my personal rig will be moving over to them soon as well.

    Here's some tech info: https://offroad.bilstein.com/en-us/products/bilstein-b8-8112-zonecontrol-cr/

Think I’m set on doing gears and locker before I go down suspension replacement. Can only blow so much on the truck each fiscal year - but these are what I want!

I’m coming to you - might have to wait a little - still recovering from the rear bumper and fridge.

I’ll be looking for 5.29s front and rear with install kits and an Eaton rear locker. Seems like people have better luck with Yukon over Nitro?

Yeah I don't really mess with Nitro anymore. Their product availability and customer service has gone to the birds since the business ownership changed hands.

    My 2 cents.

granted my rear shocks were junk but omg what a difference the bilstein are. I can’t wait to install matching fronts.

it’s a chunk of coin for sure but you get what you pay for.

Damn....and I thought my Toytecs were expensive. They don't even have the rear Boss with remote resis any more. I'm in the stone age having them lol.

Sorry for just replying here fellas! But yes, as Colton was saying the 8112 /8110 combo is on another level. Obviously I’m biased, but this combo IMO is top dog for the Tundra 2.5 mid travels. Foxes can be overly rough and a brutal daily ride in my experience and I’ve seen lots of leaky kings. :anonymous:

But seriously, they are amazing. It’s such a strange sensation how well they take rough roads, especially at speed.. they just float over all of it. IMO as close as you can get to LT without going full LT. You won’t have any regrets!

Yes Yukon over nitro if you have the option. Have you looked at getting the Powertrax grip pro over the Eaton?

curious what height setting you have the coilovers set at and what alignment specs you’re trying to achieve. I have the same UCA and will be getting the front shocks to match my rears soon.

if you’re able can you throw a tape and get some ground to fender measurements?

did you use any shims or coil overs only?

what size tires are you running?

I see you have the RAS as well. I plan to install that in lieu of the airbags shortly as well.
