When I bought my 17 I bought a service agreement called CarDoc. Normally I don’t buy that stuff but doing the math it was a pretty good deal. $995 for 5 years or 75K miles:
15 oil/filter changes, engine and cabin air filters, rotation, alignment, front and rear pads and rotors. Took it in for the 30K service and they did a fuel induction service which was included. I’ve never done one on previous vehicles but it made me think that for the future it might be a good idea every 30K, the price was $70 if not covered under service agreement which isn’t unreasonable. I read somewhere that the 5.7 PCV can be troublesome and this might help prevent that; or not? Is it just something I can do at home with a $20 can from NAPA? Any thoughts appreciated.

The PCV valve on the 5.7L is pretty easy to change, though not exactly cheap from the dealer.

I’d also bet that 100% of nothing was done on this “service”.

Fuel service is a waste. Doesn’t do anything really unless you’re having a problem from bad fuel
