Going in tomorrow for the service, haven't had any issues with the fuel pump, more worried about covid part replacements, lol.

Has anyone had any problems after the tsb replacement?

I had my local Toyota dealership text me about the recall.
Never had issues that I know of. Going in Wednesday for replacing fuel pump.

I had the fuel pump replaced in my 17. I’ve had no issues since.

Had the fuel pump replaced in my 2019 last August. 0 issues so far. Get under the truck and confirm the tank straps were reinstalled correctly!

Is there an actual recall out for the fuel pump? Haven’t gotten any notifications on it.

Does this apply to 2018 models?

You can check to see if any recall applies to your specific VIN on the Toyota site.

No same recall, just took awhile to finally get it done.

2016 5.7 non-flex with 30k miles. My fuel pump died recently with no notice, and the dealer verified the 2016 wasn't covered by the recall, and wouldn't be warrantied regardless since my powertrain warranty has expired.

I'm still struggling with sourcing the parts and the vehicle is still down. Beware, FYI.

If I were you, I'd look into it while you still have time.

I find it especially convenient that Toyota lists the pump assembly 77020-0C082 as backward compatible with all Tundras 07-20, but only 19-20 were included in the recall.

Could it be that they're hoping that the 18 and older ones would have the fuel pump die out of warranty?

I have a 2019 Tundra with 73k miles, and it does not qualify for the recall. But is having the same issues as the other ones recalled. My VIN does not qualify. I don't know what to do.

My 2019. Truck now has 43,000 miles, the new fuel pump from the recall has 20,000 miles and still no issues. Hope to get 500,000 miles with no issues.
