I got my oil changed yesterday and the guy told me I should get a fuel cleaning kit. He said it would greatly improve my gas mileage. Anyone use this or recommend?
    Thanks

I wouldn’t put anything thru the fuel system that didn’t come out of a gas pump. There’s just no need. Modern gasoline already has detergents in it.

Dont bother. This is usually just a cash grab to get you to spend money.

Usually you'll see a slight upgrade in mpg for the tank that you put it in, but back to normal after.

If you do feel the need to put something in the tank, i recommend Berryman's B12 Chemtool

Ive used Berryman's a few times, but how often should it be used?

I usually run a can through once or twice a year.

My buddy in college worked at the state vehicle maintenance yard, state vehicles would just sit and idle forever with the ac on and would get rough idles, they had cabinets of B12. They'd throw a can in and go rip the car/truck hard and hot and all was fixed.
