Are these God awful fender flares removable without leaving exposed holes in the bedside? How are they attached? Is it 3M tape stick or are they actually bolted on?

If I’m not mistaken they were a DIO on some Tundras. They’re on a truck that is at a dealership that I’m not local to. Will there be bolt holes left if removed? From what I can tell of pictures and the truck history provided it’s a decent buy. Just hate those fender flares.

Also, can anyone tell if the headlights are LED or Halogen?

They look better with a lift.
    But yes they are removable

Better, yes. Still not my jam.
Do you know if they are stick on or bolt on?
For sure. Prolly should edit my post. If I really want them gone, they’ll be gone. I’m no strange to taking the grinder or sawzall to my truck.

My question is more as to what’s left once they are removed? Open bolt holes? If so, would replacement OEM flares cover the holes? Or would I simply need to be googone-ing the shit out of the bedsides to remove any adhesive?

This is ‘Merica...keep the flairs and add bigger tires and a lift to match.

Option B- wait until you’re 65~70 years old. Then you’ll start appreciating fender flairs with an overbite.

See if you can find a manufacturer stamp somewhere and look up the installation procedure.

Those bolts are for fashion. These fenders attaches with factory mounting holes and a mounting bracket. No holes drilled into factory fender if you’re wondering. Look up bushwhacker (spell check?), installation pdf for these fenders.

Southeastern Toyota installed appearance package. It’s crap and they force it on all the trucks. Hence the flares.

I’ll look up bushwaker. The truck is for sale at a dealership that is a few hundred miles from me. Checking in person isn’t an option.

Totally removable, sometimes where the rubber strip hits the paint it wears through, other times it does not- total crap shoot. Traded in a 14 with 97k miles on it with fender flares and zero rub, my 19 tundra with 43k was worn down to the metal.

as noted, the bushwacker extenda flares are available with no bolt holes and look way less “douchebro”. I’ve always ran those ones on my 2.5g trucks, so you can slap them on if the paint is worn through and be okay…. Just make sure you color match them, black fender flares= war crime

I personally love the look of the fender flares. Color matched helps as does a lift with tires. There should be no problem removing them. No holes in the fender.
