The sticker on my 17 Tundra platinum 4x4 says it holds 38.0 gallons. However I've never been able to put more than 31.2 gallons in it when less than 5 miles to empty. Is there a reserve tank or something?

No reserve tank but toyota designed all trucks like this so that ppl dont run the tank all the way empty to prevent fuel pump from getting hot and going bad. Just keep driving dont get scared lol. We all have done it.

Yep and fuel pump replacement can be quite pricey.

"The search box is your friend" should be predominately displayed on the site header it seems. There is a ton of info here but the search can narrow it down somewhat.....

We need a "sticky" for this since it comes up once a week...but then the need for search is still there...:)
