Looking to possibly replace my tonneau cover with one that sits more flush to the truckbed. The one i have now is just like the one on top pic. No issues with it (other than sliding forward and the plastic clips rubbing my paint and it doesnt lay perfectly flat) but the lower profile design just looks sleeker. A guy near me is selling an Undercover Ultraflex used for $600. But i was told the Gator EFX is the same cover and i can find it new for just a touch more $. Just curious whos got one and is it a well made cover? Any issues? Or does anyone prefer the kind like i already have?

I had a Bakflip tri fold that was like the flush option like the 2nd picture and it was fine. I now have a Retrac which is above flush almost like the first picture.

If the only difference is how flush the cover sits, I don't think its worth the money. But it is your truck and if the above flush look bugs you, switch it out. I would personally spend that 600 on other truck mods and replace the cover down the line once it starts wearing out.

Not sure where you are located but here is a guy on the forum selling the Gator for less than that used undercover. https://www.tundras.com/threads/gator-cover-efx-tri-fold.108714/

Thanks! I worked hard to get this color and still love it.

I'm sure this forum can help you find something else to spend the money on instead of that bed cover
