My 2020 CM came with a Gator tonno cover. Fit doesn't seem quite right. At first it wasn't seated all the way forward. Now that I have that adjusted, closing the tailgate really pushes the back end up (water can easily get in). I have the front push forward to hit the under "lip", maybe that has to be up on bulkhead rail? Tailgate then pushes up on the rear under lip. I like the cover but wondering if it isn't the exact right one for the truck?? Springs seem a bit loose on the back too - can easily lift cover up. Any experience with these covers?

You should be able to adjust the clamp that lock it in. Make sure they are snug.

not sure on that. it is not the lever clamp - it is the pull down spring handle. I couldn't see how there was any adjustment? spring just seem worn out??

If I am understanding your correctly, you will need to move the under lip up onto the bulkhead rail so water can drain down between the bed and cab. This should pull the cover forward some and maybe create the clearance you need.

Can you take a pic of how it is connected to your truck? I'll go out and take a pic of the clamps I was talking about. I am a visual learner.

That is what mine look like. You must have a newer model. Maybe you can search youtube. Sorry I was unable to help.

Second what @Sean492 said. The lip should be on the bulkhead rail.
