Where do you get your gear oil. All I see on shelfs is 75w90.

I bought mine initially from AutoZone (4 individual quarts of Lucas Oil Synthetic 75W-90) , and then got the rest I need on Amazon in a 1 Gallon jug for less - www.amazon.com/dp/B000IG20RC

I'm pretty sure for 07-13, both diffs and transfer case take 75W-90, but there are some alternatives that work. 2014 & up have something different for the transfer case.

If you're wondering about Transmission Oil...I haven't tackled that one yet...good luck!

Will be changing front/rear diff oil at 30K miles, currently at 26K. I’ll be using Valvoline 75W-90 in the new packaging.

75w-90 is fine to use instead of 75W-85 in the differentials. There is only a slight viscosity difference between them, and that difference only exists for Toyota's fleet fuel economy. 75W-90 will protect better than 75W-85 as well.

Any synthetic should be ok. I've had good luck with Mobil 1, Amsoil, and Valvoline. The Valvoline synthetic gear oil at Walmart in the Flex Fill bags (similar to the optional from Amsoil) make filling the diffs easier. I'll probably use those next time as the price is good for a quality product.

Yeah I used the Amsoil squeeze pouches this last time and will never go back to the old bottle with a pump method. The pouches are way easier.
