Is it possible to replace the center console lid on a Limited trim truck with the one like the TRD Pro or maybe on another trim level that has a top tray that closes? The open tray on the top of the Limited trim central console is not very useful because anything you leave laying on that tray flys off when you open the main lid. Really a useless design. Those should all have a lid on the very top that you can actually keep some small items in. Thanks for any ideas you might have!

I was curious on doing the center console lid swap too on my SR5. I like to put my arm on armrest when driving and the top tray is uncomfortable resting my elbow. Currently use a small plushy for long drives.

I was hoping to just get the little top tray with lid but it seems like according to parts diagram, they only sell the entire armrest and it's costly. I was thinking of getting TRD pro armrest as it may match the black softex interior but the only issue I don't like is the red stitching. All the higher model with top tray lid has different color stitchings.

I ordered and returned that lid to Amazon. It's a nice idea, but it is shit quality.
