Looking for thoughts on gloss black door handles. The textured door handles will fade after time. The emblem overlays are gloss black.

To each their own. If you like it then go for it…. Personally, I think your truck looks sharp with the matte black trim.
Did you ever think of applying a product like Car Pro DLUX or the like to keep your handles from fading?
Maybe a monthly application of Aerospace 303 would keep the textured ones looking good?

The door handles are the only matte black on the truck. 303 is terrible on the exterior. It will streak, turn gray, and fade. I tried it on some trim on my 2013. I only use it inside the truck.

Hmmmm…I used it on my cowl, bumper covers, and bed rails and didn’t have any of those issues.
Stinks that happens to you. Anyway…I still think your truck looks sharp as is…

Yes. Gloss black front and rears. Having a DC and adding “visible” door handles to rear, makes it more truck-ish.

This is my old DC with gloss black front and rear handles.

I have also added gloss black handles to my current CMAX as well. Cleans it up nicely.

303 on the powder coated parts works really well to keep the shine.

I think they match the other black parts of the truck. I use 303 on my vinyl bed cover and I am still getting mold spots.

    Yes on the gloss black.

My truck came with the textured black handles and mirror caps. Like you said, they always looked like crap. Could dress them with different products for short term improvement, but they would not stay looking good and rain would make the product run down the truck sides.

Installed CHROME handles and mirror caps and have been happy since. I am one of the few that added chrome, but it works nicely on my truck.

I would, but they are something like $500 for mine because of the proximity unlock feature. I absolutely hate the plastic flat black handles. They pick up every piece of dirt, dust, etc that even wafts by them.

I’m gonna jump in here. What is under the chrome handles if you pull the "luxury" off? Is it just the matte black plastic..

I'm not touching anything on mine, to each his own, do you like it? That's all that matters. I was going to black out the badges then I said to myself ,if they came black then everyone would want to chrome them so I'm leaving them as is the only thing I'm going to do on mine is tint the Windows , drivers and passenger side, black nerf bars and a cover for the bed and when I need tires I will probably get new rims but I'm not sure about the rims . Make it your own.

I don't hate it, especially since your emblems are gloss, it fits the overall look.
You could take it a step further and spray them with the same texture as your fender flares and steps, but that may be overkill.

For those with the flat black handles, Adam's VRT works very well on those. Dries well and doesn't streak or spot.
