So I had some stuff being done at the dealer and they gave me a loaner to use. To my surprise it was a new White 2018 TRD Sport. I know some people don’t like the non functional hood scoop but it looks good. IMO. It was cool to drive a new Tundra for a little bit and yes it was White. 329389C7-21A3-4FC6-BBA8-7B64E16B74C4.jpg

Not sure what the deal above the mirror is yet?

Looks bad ass! I wonder if the thing above the mirror is a microphone or something to do with Voice calling. Glass break sensor?

The TRD Sport exhaust sounded better than mine. Not sure if it had the TRD exhaust on it. I forgot to check in all the excitement.

Yep we turn every thread into a color thing. That’s because White is the best because it is a mixture of all colors making it the mega color.

Well thanks but I’m sure they’re others that have done more than my nearly stock rig. It was a fun Tundra to drive!

Are the gauges always backlit? My biggest gripe right now about mine. Probably one of the harder ones to fix too. Someone needs to come up with a dash light always on mod.

Lol. Even though it wasn’t my truck I’m not willing to try that one out. I’ve heard it works but I don’t have any reason to risk it.

Not sure bud. I always drive with my running lights on my 2017 since I’m running tinted taillights.

One persons opinion, let me ask you this. If you have a blank piece of white paper, and use a beautiful silver pen on it what color will quickly present it self.....

What? It’s the movie Colors. I figured that movie is all about colors and we seem to make everything around here about what color our trucks are. Since we can’t fight over how to fix our broken Fords. All we have to fight about is what color our trucks are.

Gauges on the 2018's are always backlit, even with headlights or DRL off. I don't think that truck has the TRD dual exhaust, should be able to see the left tail pipe in the first photo.
As far as looks are concerned. I do like the hood scoop....fake or not. And for the color, the truck looks great in white and probably in most other colors Toyota offers!

I really wanted and like my standard cab, but if I decide to get a new Tundra some day, it will be the sport with that hood. Maybe I am biased because I have a sport 4runner, but I like it's looks and I like the white. My new SR8s in matte gray would look perfect on that thing.
