    hello all,
I'm trying to do a grille swap on my 2018 Limited Tundra Cement Grey. I have looked at that "grille information thread" page and still cannot determine what exact parts i need to make the swap. I'm trying to go from the factory all chrome bumper to this in the photo ( picture i saw somewhere here on the forum) any and all feedback is helpful!

You need the TRD Pro Grill with color matching surround. If the surround is already the same color(not chrome), then you only need the grill “insert”. If your hood “bulge” is also chrome, you will need the color matching option of that too.

FAA0C53E-7974-4719-A8D5-8E87DCF5F581.jpg I have a cement gray and got the 2014-17 pro grill with the Jomax relocation bracket.

If you get the newer pro grill you need the sensor garnish which is absurdly expensive. And I don’t believe you can get the newer pro grill color matched with cement gray - you would have to get it painted

Have to agree here. This thread has all the info and part numbers you will need. Without a picture it's hard to say exactly what combination of parts you need. The grill is pretty straightforward but you have options with your bumper. With the existing chrome, you'll need a few extra parts other than the covers. Again, all of that is listed in the quoted thread. Another, cheaper option, would be the bumper corner skins a few members are running.

This should be everything you need for the grille. You'll have to get the surround (and probably the bulge too) repainted to match.

I have 2018 SR5. I bought cement hood bulge color matched and a 2014 trd pro grille with color matched surround. I did not want to use a TSS relocation bracket and personally hate the “Toyota” written across so I kept my sport grille.

you have to separate the grille insert from the surround for both pieces. Then replace the grille you want into the color matched surround.

video shows how to swap grille inserts into the color matched surround. Be gentle about the clips. They do break easily. I broke 2 off but haven’t had any issues.

If anyone's doing a grill swap from a honeycomb sport model to Pro grill type, I'd be interested in the discarded, unwanted insert. Any condition is fine.
