This is my first truck and I never wrenched on a truck before. Could someone provide me some pictures or a video guide on how to perform fluid change for Front Diff, Rear Diff, and Transfer Case.

    Please and Thank you!

My first thought was--Hmm what doesn't he check YouTube? So, I went to YouTube myself. No videos for 2022-2025 Tundras pertaining to fluid change for diffs and transfer case. @Main Lo: Sorry, I don't have anything to help you.

I don’t have pics or video as I haven’t done it yet myself but I saved this post for when I will do it. Here’s the torque values and basic steps for the front and rear diff at least https://www.tundras.com/threads/202...s-oil-filter-part-number.101996/#post-2617732

I’ve got some pages saved when I bought a few days of TIS service manual guide access. I can look in there when I get a second and share what I have. Think I remembered procedures in there.

Very cool you're learning how to do maintenance on your truck.

I can't comment on where to find tutorials, however, the basics are the same for all three of those items:

-Make sure you can remove the fill plug before you remove the drain plug. This ensures you're able to complete the service before draining the fluid without a way to get it back in.

-I don't have enough miles on mine to do these services yet so I haven't confirmed the amount of fluid. It's likely all you have to do is fill it up until it starts coming out the fill hole. Please confirm the quantities of fluid yourself before attempting and it's good to know so you have an estimate of when you're close.

-Have new fluid, a drain pan, torque specs, torque wrench and new washers.

Assuming you're good on the points above, the steps I'd take for all three are as follows:

    1. Remove fill plug
    2. Remove drain plug and clean off magnet if applicable
    3. Replace washer and reinstall drain plug torqued to spec
    4. Fill with fluid
    5. Replace washer and reinstall fill plug torqued to spec
    6. Celebrate that you saved yourself some money and now know your truck a bit better too.

    Good luck!

Here are 2 maintenance docs I found from my downloads for these fluid changes. Enjoy!

Have done all 3. Fairly straightforward. You will need a 1/2” square drive socket for the transfer case. Since you indicated you are just starting on wrenching, just know you don’t need to buy Snap On or Matco super expensive tools, you can get a full set of metric hex sockets for a reasonable price on Amazon or Harbor Freight that will be just fine. Same with a torque wrench. I would also consider getting a fluid pump, you can get one on Amazon or your local parts store for under $20. There are some rollup gear oil containers if you don’t want a pump, but you will need one for the transfer case anyway. It can be helpful to remove the spare for the rear differential but it’s not completely necessary. @60centenergy downloads are super helpful, I downloaded those as well, thank you good sir!
