I’m wanting to get rid of the stock halogen headlights on my ‘18 SR5. The truck lived it’s early life in Arizona so the halogen housing showed the effects of the sun out there. I spent a day restoring them and thought about just replacing the bulbs with LED bulbs after all that work. Headlight Revolution has several options and they highly recommended the GTR Ultra 2 bulbs at $265/pair. Their other recommendation is their Genuine Toyota LED housings in which they also install LED turn signals for $706/pair not including the DRL conversion kit. Tonight I ran across a company called Form Lighting. They make LED housings in both OEM style reflectors OR blacked out projector. Both have a really cool integrated white DRL that switches to sequential amber for the turn signals. Completely plug and play with no extra adapters needed. Price is $699/pair. There are no reviews on their products. Has anyone here heard of them or purchased their headlights? I’m really leaning towards their reflector style (the projectors are $899 btw). Any input would be greatly appreciated.

    Alot of them
I'm not familiar with anyone that has used them. If you already had to restore the lenses, I wouldn't waste $250 for a set of bulbs. I would get a set of OEM leds or the TRD Pro leds depending on the color of the housing that you want (black or chrome), and then have PPF installed on them to prevent the fading on the lenses. The OEM Leds are around ~$600 for the pair if I recall.

Installing the factory LEDs with the @iHacker harness for the win. You will be very happy with the change.

    Too many, but not enough....
I did the halogen to TRD Pro Black LEDs with the ihacker harness and its been one of my best mods. It makes the truck look badass and the light output is literally a night and day difference. Super easy install too.

A lot easier than the Tacoma, you have to pull the front bumper to change out the headlights.

I you can wait a little bit I’ll have a full review of a bunch of different housings including Form and others coming out in hopefully a couple of weeks. If you want to purchase now we can get you the Form stuff here at Hotshot Offroad and I can spare you sales tax as well as shipping costs. Just shoot me a pm :)

Anything I've bought from Headlight Revolution has failed.
    Just my experiences.

As others stated, the best option for halogen headlight replacement is OEM LEDs with an @iHacker harness.

I first bought TRD halogens for my 2014 MGM in 2015.
I fought the OEM LED bug but I got bit a couple of years ago.
I should have done it sooner.

What LED turn signal bulb is in your housing? If I go the OEM route I will want to do that mod too.

I can wait. I’m really curious to see how the Form’s compare to the OEM Pro lights. Looking forward to your reviews.

Like everyone else has said, go Toyota oem and forgot about it, the TRD Pro LED conversion is a really big esthetic upgrade, do it.

I have Sylvania Zevo ambers in mine. I had to install resistors but they work well.

Amazon.com: iBrightstar Newest 9-30V Super Bright Low Power 7443 7440 T20 LED Bulbs with Projector Replacement for Front Rear Turn Signal Lights, Amber Yellow : Everything Else

    I'm happy with them.
Plug and play, I have big VLED resistors in the rear (that cover the front and rear turn signals) so I don't know if they would hyper flash without one.

Headlight Revolution makes a nice product aesthetically but based on the design of the bulb itself in comparison to the average unbranded led i don't see the merit in the extra $200. The reflector is where the light scatter occurs and I personally think you're only improving this issue with an entirely new headlight housing.

I haven't done one but they're not hard to do. I didn't even have to pull my HLs out. Pull your turn signal bulbs out pop the new LEDs in then splice in the resistors in your power wires.

They get hot so make sure they don't come into contact with any plastic. You also wanna put them where you can get airflow over them so they cool off as you drive. Mine are on with DRLs so they are on more than if you just have them come on with turn signals.

Anyone needing resistors for front and rear LED turn signals with a front DRL, this is the way to go.

4 LED TURN SIGNAL HYPERFLASH FIX VLR-3 (vleds.com)

They mount behind tail lights and cover both front and rear signals.
Very heavy duty and dissipate heat very well.
They have double sides tape, but I also put a self-tapping screw to mount.
