Has Any Done The Big 3 Upgrade To Improve Your Vehicle's Electrical Charging System for Car Audio?

I was wondering if anyone has done the big 3 wiring upgrade to improve their vehicles electrical charge system? You basically add bigger gauge wiring to three grounding points on your truck. Battery to ground, alternator to battery, ground to the engine block. If you've done this upgrade let me know what you think about it and if you think it improved the charging of you battery or even improved you audio quality. Also let me know what gauge wire you chose and the fittings you used. Here is a video if anyone is interested on the big 3 upgrade.
