Has anyone here ordered parts / accessories from Auto Anything ?

The thread about the Diamondback cover has convinced me that I want the Diamondback SE cover. I am ready to order it from Autoanything and would like to know if anyone here has purchased anything from their website and, if so, were they good to deal with.

Some of the reviews that came up from google were not so great, however, most of the complaints seem to be about shipping and delivery dates that were past what the buyers were expecting.

If anyone here can provide any info I'd appreciate it.

I’ve ordered many items from autoanything. For the most part It’s been a good experience. Prices are pretty competitive as well. I recommend you calling them on chat with them online to get an additional discount.

 

I ordered a foam cannon. For unknown reasons, the connector would not attach properly to my pressure washer.

1. The phone support guy was zero helpful about troubleshooting what the cause of the problem could be...

2. But immediately offered (and emailed) a label for me to return it.

So... I'd order again, based on the no-argument return option.

 

I ordered my cover from autoanything without any issues. I did search the internet and found some website that had the same cover for significantly less but I couldn't find any info on it and I was a little wary of it. A friend recommended autoanything, so I requested an e mail quote from this other site and then went to autoanything chat and they were able to beat the price. Overall a good experience.

 

i order from autoanything often. Just be aware they mostly do drop ship i.e. they don't have anything in stock so sometimes the site says in stock but you actually have to wait from the manufacturer to ship.

 

Thanks for the replies. I did chat with them online regarding the installation and to confirm that I need to order the bedrail kit. They sent me a link to the order page that included a discount (about 8%). Free shipping to AZ too but I think that's standard.

I have got a few things from there also. Never had any real issues

 

I’ve gotten plenty of things from them. Various vehicles. Never a problem.

 

I’ve bought multiple things there, 2 bakflip covers, visors, cold air intakes etc. Always had good experiences and they always give additional discounts when you chat with customer service

 

Use the chat box to haggle over the price. You can get a decent amount off.

 

I have bought many things from them, never had a bad experience.

EDIT: One time they sent me the wrong rotors twice, then told me the price on their page was wrong so it would cost me an extra $100 or so. I spoke with someone from customer service and they honored the original price and sent me the correct part.

Minor inconvenience but they fortunately honored that price, so I got a great deal.

 

I have bought a bunch of things from them. I have had both great and horrible experiences. First great was when they won my business from 4WP for a $900 plus turbo back exhaust for my F250. Everyone else couldn't find one and they did. Had it pulled from that warehouse and shipped the same day. On the flip side I ordered a cat back for my Tacoma from them and they said they supplier had it in stock and it would be shipped in about 2 days. After two weeks I called Autoanything and talked to a bunch of people and got a run around from them. So I called the manufacturer told them what happened and asked if they could see my order on their end. They could and said it was going to be like 3 weeks before the exhaust was built. Called Autoanything back and canceled my order. Since then I have ordered stuff for 3 work trucks and the cover on my Tundra with no issues. To be fair this is over the last 9 years or so. I would still do business with them but like mentioned above either call them directly or use the chat window. They almost got me last year this time on a exhaust and intake. I just didn't want to spend the money.

 

Bought several different items from them. Excellent customer service, prompt shipping, can't complain.

Also they beat or match the price you find elsewhere.

 

Bought my bed rail system and tonneau cover from them. Not a problem.

 

Bought my King suspension from them. Get someone on the phone and negotiate. Well worth the extra effort...

 

As everyone else has stated, hit the chat with them to save some money. I just ordered an Extang Solid fold 2.0 from them. I was a little disappointed in regards to communication with them. Ordered the tonneau cover on a Monday, received the "placed order email" which stated, "you will receive another email once item has shipped". Got home from work Wednesday, tonneau was sitting in the driveway. Not that I'm mad about quick delivery, just not a big fan of not knowing a $700 item was just sitting in my driveway without me knowing.....other than that, cheapest place I could find online, plus fairly quick shipping.

 

made my first order from them on Cyber Monday. Called after a week of not getting any tracking info and was told running boards are backordered and won't ship until 12/15. checked on 12/15 to see if they were going to ship only to be told ship date has been pushed to 12/29.

In all fairness Autoanything drop ships so the item being backordered isn't their fault. What does bother me is the lack of communication or not being told upon placing my order that my item was backordered.

EDIT TO MY EARLIER POST: since I posted the above earlier this afternoon Autoanything reached out to me and offered to ship me a similar item that is in stock and eat the $100 price difference. Definitely not something they had to do since this was a supply problem with the manufacturer. They will get my business again in the future.

Well aware of the little drop shipping delay issue though
I wish I were in a position to fix it, but at least can contact the manufacturer to check prior to an order. And yes, 99% of what we sell is dropped shipped directly from the manufacturer.

 

I went ahead and reading some of the positive replies to this thread. I appreciate the heads up on the drop ship info; I ordered the Diamondback SE cover expecting that it would take a while for it to ship. I received an email with an estimated shipping date in about two weeks - I'm glad about the wait before I ordered. I guess that I'm getting spoiled by Amazon Prime.

I have ordered from them without any issue. I have had huge problems with CARID.

 

I've bought several items from autoanything for my new Tundra. The prices were lower than all other sites, especially with free shipping. I also used their online chat capability to get additional discounts. No complaints here.
