This. Get yourself a double male 3.5mm aux cable. Plug one end into your portable CD player and the other into your AUX jack

I put all my CDs in iTunes years ago, then I moved them to USB. Much better than a CD player.

    I did the same.
I have about 2500 songs on my iPhone, but then I have USB with about 5K songs.
It's nice to play a USB and let it shuffle, one can easily ship over a song they don't want to hear....

    Mine took months as well.
I have 18,585 songs compressed to mp3 taking up 89.6GB
and 2,590 .FLAC (lossless) songs taking up 62.5GB

I made sure the headunit I got played .FLAC so I would not loose the CD quality sound.

There was a time when I quit buying CDs and downloaded or bought mp3s instead.
Bad idea as mp3 quality is truly dismal but back when storage was pretty expensive it was nice to have them compressed.
Now I am spending more money on CDs that are hard to find because I want full quality audio that mp3s don’t provide.

I used to have 3 long wooden crates of albums.
Years ago I narrowed it down to 1 and sold the rest to HALF Price books.
I wish I still had them all.

I've still got a couple of file boxes of CDs I don't know what to do with..

It definitely takes some time to load up a stick, but once it’s done you won’t ever want to carry a stack of CD’s in your vehicle again. What’s nice too is I take it with me when I rent a car or use my wife’s car.
The only issue I had is some releases on multiple CD’s show up on the browse screen as separate CD’s. I downloaded a free MP3 tag editor and can easily make it present as one title.
