Has anyone seen this with a spacer?

I bought my 2013 CrewMax Off-Road with 1.5" spacers already installed. I now have 5100s and Coachbuilder shims on the way and I'm getting ready to instal them.

I've read though many, many threads about 5100s and about spacers but I'm not seeing or hearing anything about what look like rubber spacers at the top of the coils like I see on mine. Both sides have the same rubber bits.

Is that rubber supposed to be a shim or something to do with the coil? Should I just eliminate it when I compress the spring and instal the 5100s? I presume so, I don't see it in anyone else's photos.

    Thanks for any input.

The yellow is part of the factory coil. The red is the leveling spacer. See if this installation sheet helps. I'm not sure if it's the most current but I don't think it would have changed much if it did.

Big spacer on top has to go. The thin rubber gasket between the coil and top hat stays with the coil when you swap over to the 5100s.

That's exactly what I was looking for: the rubber stays when I remove the spacer and instal the 5100s.

    Thanks guys.

Oh, and thanks Tundra234, for the instal instructions.
