I’ve noticed lately that several people have installed the Hayden 679 transmission cooler to the 2019 - 2021 trucks. After a little measuring and CAD work I have made a mounting bracket and sourced the necessary hardware.

The bracket is made from 12ga steel and plasma cut. The mounting points use existing holes/threads.

I’m trying to gauge interests to get an idea of how many to get cut. I can leave them raw steel for you to paint/powdercoat or I can have them powdercoated locally.

Coat would be $120 for raw steel finish with stainless steel hardware, spacer, (2) rubber grommets, shipping included to most places in the US. A black powdercoat finish would add about $30.

This will give you an idea of what it would come with and what you’d need. Guessing it would end up costing around half of what some other kits cost.

Hayden 679 – Tundra Mounting Bracket Included:

    - Hayden 679 Mounting Bracket
    - Stainless Steel hardware kit with all bolts/nuts/washers and spacer to mount the bracket to the truck and cooler to the bracket. Also comes with a bolt to relocate the passenger side horn to the support for the hood latch.
-(2) Rubber grommets for protecting the hose that connects the cooler to the OEM Toyota hardlines. Requires a 1 ¼" hole to be drilled. I used a step drill bit for this, I’m sure a hole saw would work as well.

Other items you will need to install the transmission cooler, not included:

    -Hayden 679 transmission cooler
-OEM Toyota transmission thermostat (Part # 32970-34030)
-OEM Toyota thermostat inlet hose (Part # 32941-0C030)
-OEM Toyota thermostat outlet hose (Part # 32942-0C040)
-OEM Toyota hardlines (Part # 32907-0C020)
-(2) Flange bolts to mount the hardlines (Part # 90080-10400)
-3/8” transmission cooler hose to go from the hardlines to the 3/8” barbs on the Hayden transmission cooler. I used around 7FT, I purchased mine from Napa Transmission Oil Cooler Hose 3/8" x 25 ft. (250 psi) NBH H1956 | Buy Online - NAPA Auto Parts (napaonline.com) It can be bought at most any auto part stores, I did find that the cheaper hose had a loose fit on the OEM Toyota hardlines. The hose that I purchased from Napa was actually Gates brand, part number 6GTHX. I liked the fit of this hose.
    -(8) OEM Toyota hose clamps (Part# 90466-16004)
-Transmission fluid, I used about 1.5qts of Toyota WS ATF. This is enough to fill the lines, cooler and have extra for the fluid check procedure.

-OEM Toyota transmission thermostat (Part # 32970-34030)

If there is interest I will get a batch made, if not I may just get a few made for those that have reached out already.

I have enough interest to get a batch made. I’ll let the fab shop know how many to make and should have them in a week or so. I’ll post a thread in the classified section once they come in and are ready to be shipped. I’ll link the classified thread here for easy reference.
