Any recommendations on replacing my stock headlight bulbs with something brighter? LED bulbs for a pair run about $100 at autozone, I don't want to spend that much.

Also what about the fog lights in the bumper, can the bulbs in those be replaced with a brighter bulb?

    Thanks and Happy Holidays,

    Eric

I put in Sealight LED bulbs. Bought them because they don’t use a fan. They worked so good in my Tundra, I put them in all my cars. I also put them in my 85 year old in-laws cars who used to never drive at night, they said these were a game changer. They fit right into the stock housing and plug in to the factory harness. You can get them on Amazon
for less than $50 and they last a whole lot longer than the most expensive halogens.

So after reading the thread (2016) from Taco Spike, I wonder if the LED bulb technology has been modified to fit into the stock, 2007 Tundra, headlight reflectors...?

I’ve been using the Sealight LED’s for over 2 years in 4 different vehicles and haven’t had anybody ever flash their lights at me, even while driving my truck. If your headlights aren’t aimed properly, I can see that being an issue.

No problem. If you are just looking for brighter lights, then it’s a cheap way to achieve what you’re looking for. If I had over $1K of disposable money, I may have considered them. I’m sure the new fixtures may have a better beam, but the difference from going from the best halogens to a decent set of LED bulbs was so dramatic, that I just couldn’t justify the money. Plus, I had just replaced the original yellowing fixtures. In the end, it’s your truck and your money and different people are going to have different opinions. I’m sure you’ll be happy with whatever decision you make.

Will do. If I get the LEDs, I'll do some before and after pics.
