Brand new to my Tundra and the community. Just bought my 2008 Tundra limited Crewmax iforce last week and have been loving it so far. I'll be looking to make some upgrades in the near future. I would like repaint the chrome and change out the wheels for black rims. I'll also be looking to put a cap/topper/shell on the bed and was hoping there was a thread that showed different looks with different opinions. I looked and I couldn't find a thread that was just dedicated to toppers. I'll update this post with a couple of pictures once I have a chance to take something of qualtiy.

Welcome Andrew. I'm pleased with my Soft Topper. It's really versatile and stores nicely. Install takes a whopping 5 min.

Welcome from Parker, CO. Type in the search bar "camper shell" and you'll get some hits.

I have the softtopper as well and couldn't be happier. They are made in Boulder so you could pick it up and save on shipping costs.

how does the soft topper do as far as water seepage is concerned? Also does anyone have a pic of it on a crewmax with a shortbed? I'm just concerned i'm not going to like the looks.

That looks awesome. I'm not sure what color I would go with considering my truck is black. I think the grey could look pretty badass on it. this idiot forgot to test out the 4 wheel drive before purchasing.... Guess what I just found out has issues. Click sound coming from the front driverside when in four wheel low. It sounds like somthing is impacting something that is spinning because as I speed up so does the clicking. Obviously shut down four wheel pretty quick but now I need to figure out what is wrong and get that fixed before I can deal with softopper.

CV joint would be my guess based on the click being rotational. It's not a major job if you've got patience and tools.
