Hello all, new to forum. 2013 Tundra CrewMax. Rear camera worked great with the navigation system... until some critters decided to chew through the cabling leading to the connector under bed/next to spare tire. Not good!

I have the connector with the 4 leads (white, black, black, red - picture 1), so with some soldering and rewiring, should be able to repair.IMG_8545.jpg

However, I have more leads coming from the harness cable than needed (see picture 2) - a shielded cable with white, red, black, and uninsulated silver wires - a single black wire - and a coax-type wire.

Any help on which wire is what? I've tracked back that I could go to connector RA1 under the hood, and try to ohm out the lines. If anyone can help to identify each of my 6 wires, and which go to the 4 for the camera connector, I would be most appreciative!

Separately, there is a nearby loose white wire which appears to come from the reverse light. Not sure if that cable is in play or not...

    Thanks!

Update on this - pulling together several posts, wiring diagrams, and finally, popping off RA1 connector under the hood and ohming out the rear harness cable, I have repaired wiring and a working rear camera! The magic: in a shielded 4-wire bundle, RA1-13 (CV-) is the cable shield/braided wires to XR1-3 black, RA-14 (CV+) is red to XR1-4, RA-15 (CGND) is white to XR1-1, and RA-16 (CB+) is black to XR1-2. NOTE: This is for wiring with in-radio navigation - it appears that for the rear camera in rearview mirror, the wiring from RA1 to XR1 is slightly different...

However, I'm still unsure of the purpose(s) for the single black wire and the small coax that is in the same rear harness branch - any info or leads from the forum? I may have to back-trace up the harness to a connector pin, or try to get some info from the local Toyota dealer...

This is a super helpful post. I'm working on this same project and good to see others have worked through his success.
