Currently I have completely stock piping on a 4.7L with the exception of a flowmaster super 44. I was wanting to do a resonator delete and add some high flow cats to make it louder. Is this worth it?

Probably not. Your run cel without proper cats, you could run simulators but all that hassle and expense for some volume?

The res delete will open up some sound but mostly will make your truck drone from 1800-2300 RPM. That will cost you maybe $50 for a muffler shop to do. You'll get a lot more snarl sound though and you might like that.

I don't know which flowmaster I had, I think it was the 40. I ran it dumped just beyond the cab and it was loud as all hell. Even with a resonator I could barely stand it on freeways.

H-pipe and a smaller muffler will do fine and save you some money. 2 high flow cats isn’t cheap. I had GESi high flows on my Lexus but one went out in under 10k miles.
