Hi , I have 2014 Tundra 1794 have 22” Trd rims , 285/45/22 tires like to go wider?

    Trd air intake , 22” Trd cast aluminum rims , aftermarket tail lights
    I have 2014 Tundra 1794 , installed 22” F-Sport wheels of LX 570 with 285/45/22 tires trying to go with wider tires keeping about same height , any suggestions?

    Unless someone here has an answer based on experience with the same wheel/tire combinations, I would suggest:
    If you are going to keep the same wheels (/rims), then measure the distance between the existing tire and the UCA where it is closest to the tire.
    Also turn the wheels all the way to the left and measure the distance between the inside of the tire edge and frame on one side and the distance between the front face of the tire and the bumper, mud guard etc. - anywhere it seems to be close. Repeat with wheels all the way to the right, since it is not always the same for each side. You might want to repeat this with the wheels in flex (parked with one wheel on a curb and again in a hole). Then take the difference in width between the existing and proposed tire, divide it in two (since one half of the additional width will be to the inside and the other half to the outside) and see if it will fit in the dimensions/clearances you have with the existing tires.
