Two of the clamps have rusted off....did some googling with no success. Anyone know of a parts supplier (other than a dealer) that sells these incidental type of parts? If not, might have to work up a set of makeshift clamps (see "duct tape"...just kidding). Thanks

Your local boneyard probably has thousands of these. I wonder if they would even charge you to take them.

That's true...there are a couple of salvage yards in the area. Do you think it's safe to assume that all the years in the first generation used the same air filter hood and, therefore, clamp design? If so, odds are greater for to find something. Other side of the coin is that, because these trucks hold up so well, there may not be that many in the yards.

I don't know what year your truck is but 2000-2004 is identical.

It wouldn't surprise me if the same latch is used on all or most other models of Toyotas (Camry, Corolla, Sienna, 4Runner, etc.) of that era. Take one one of your good ones off and bring it with you to compare.

Salvage yards will ship online right to your door. You can talk to them over the phone and trade pictures, but odds are they will know better than you as its their business.

The local yard will only sell the box...$50. I'll figure something out.
