How do I disable the connected services hardware ?

    I just spent 20 minutes on hold trying to "opt out" of the connective (tracking driving habits) services.
    Every 10 seconds, for 20 minutes I listened to:
    "Thank you for calling, we are assisting other customers and will be with you in a moment".
    Finally had to hang up when I pulled in the driveway.

    Im not waiting on hold again.

    How do I unplug this bullshit ?
    Is there a module or box specific to the service ?
    I dont want to disable the onboard wifi or anything else. I just dont consent to Toyota having free access to my truck and driving habits for free.

    My GM vehicles had an Onstar unit that could be unplugged inside the dashboard.

    I have a problem with Toyota being able to remotely access my truck and use or sell the information.

    I would like to cut them off.

    Can it be done without spending an hour on hold ?

    The only info I got was to "push the emergency button".
    The automated voice asks if emergency first, then will direct you to hold for a human.
    I have no idea what the phone number was.

    They cancelled service, yes... but the app only said to call via the overhead emergency button. I did not see any way to manually disconnect from Toyotas monitoring system.

    Very much like trying to disconnect from satellite radio or comcast. ;)
