Serious question, lol. Stay with me on this.

so as a driver I step first with my left leg onto running board, then right foot into cab, left foot into cab, and boom I’m in.

my wife first steps with her her right foot onto running board, then either left foot into cab, or running board , then right foot into cab.

my method (to me) feels natural, and her way feels weird. She feels the same.

she said “go ask your internet friends on tundras.com” so here we are.

obviously she’s right, but what do you guys do?

Yup, just sittin round the internet, bored on a Tuesday afternoon.

1-0 for your method. Let's keep a tally to rub it in your wife's face.

How the hell would you get into the driver side left foot first?
Whether getting in from the ground or a step, the right leg/foot always goes first.
Unless you're getting in with your ass facing the steering wheel and then turning around.
Not sure how you would enter left foot first.

My first step was taking the running boards off. She can jump up in there if she wants a ride. But when they were on? Left foot first, were not heathens, are we?

Mine was going to wear a hole in the seats from sliding out every time to reach for the ground. I'd rather have running boards than worn seats. The also protect the rocker panels from chips and dents.

my method the right foot does in fact enter the truck first. But instead of stepping from the ground into the truck, I’m stepping from the running board, into, the truck.

Right. My truck is low enough that I don't quite need the steps. I was just saying that it doesn't matter if you're stepping into the truck right from the ground, or stepping into the truck from the step,.....I just don't see how you would enter the driver side with your left foot first.
Walk up to the side of a dining room chair that's pulled out from the table about far enough that the table is roughly where the steering wheel would be in the truck.
Would you stick your left foot in front of the chair, then twist and pull your right foot under/behind your left leg,.......no, that's just stupid. You twist your ass toward the seat, swing your right foot in first and sit.
Left foot first if you're sitting from the right side/passenger side.
I dunno man, the female brain is wired different and there's no "winning" stuff like this. I guess, which ever way is more natural for her. As long as she's not tripping herself of dragging mud across the front of the seat.
I've never even thought about this before, but now that it came up, yeah, just doesn't make sense to stick my left foot in the truck first from the driver side.

I enter with left foot on running board first, then right foot into the truck and sit down with the left foot entering last. It just feels natural to me. I lost count on the score.

Isn't she getting in on the passenger side where she belongs? If that's the case, then her method works perfectly.

This could be the absolute dumbest thread ever started on this forum. What difference does it make how she gets in the truck? There are so many other things more important in life than worrying about her foot placement.

both of our methods are complete opposite when we are on the passenger side. The problem (disagreement) remains.

right? Not sure on the actual context of the post so I refrained from commenting. Sarcasm is sometimes, hard to detect.

was hoping most people realize I’m having a bit of fun if you will.

There are much more pressing issues, like how the roll of toilet paper falls?

That's why I use side steps.
Running boards are unnecessary and dangerous.

Yeah, no, there's no way her method would work for me. . .or most guys I assume. My legs don't work that way . Left foot first on the steps. . Then right foot In the cab . .otherwise I'd need crutches atleast.

If you're grabbing the handle it's left on step and right foot into the truck and sit down. As a taller guy I rarely use the step but have them for my much shorter passengers.

Also I've been married for 35 years and wife's aren't always right. When they are right praise them and apologize for your being wrong!

Mine are up high and usually we step on them. Mainly to prevent the seat panel from cracking!

I'm with you. My calves won't let me try to squeeze my right leg behind my left if the left goes in first.

As somebody else asked, just to clarify, you are talking about what she does getting into the driver seat, right?

I know that. But I've seen you post that you're waiting for the "horde" in threads, and that's a direct provocation. It's like starting a fight and then claiming the other guy is violent. If you provoke it, you don't get to blame. Also, 2005 wasn't 2nd gen.
