How do you test the power steering vacuum line?

    2000 Tundra AC, SR5, 4.7 V8 4WD, 325,00ish miles.
    I noticed last night at the gas station, that my truck was idling at 1100 rpm, fully warmed up, no AC.

    I also notice there is no RPM jump when I turn my steering wheel.

    Does this mean that air line I've heard about to the steering rack is leaking? what is the test and fix.

    Thanks for any help.

    Well, it does drop RPMS by about 100 when the line is pinched at full lock.

    But the end of the hose where it attaches to the manifold is heavily cracked so I am thinking there is a vacuum leak there which would have the same effect as letting a little extra air in to bump up the RPM so I'm gong to look into that.

    The problem I am having now is that I'm having no luck finding the part for sale. Maybe I should just use generic vacuum line?
