When I purchased my truck Used from a dealship I was told it was a limited. I took my truck in to a different dealership and they are telling me it’s not a limited. Both were not Toyota dealships.

My first question is does your truck have the Limited badging? The only way I would know how to do it is by the serial number. Try this link. It's a Toyota dealer so it should be safe but then again I hate putting any information out there that I don't have to. The last 6 numbers are the actual unique number for your truck so you could change them if you are worried.

    Thank you.

No badges saying limited but they could of been removed. And the truck has Navi which I bought was a limited option but not sr5

Run your VIN on the Toyota Owners site. It'll tell you everything about your truck. Model, options, service history if done at a dealer, etc.

Cloth seats greyish in color. Chrome grill. It looks exactly like a sr5 now that I think about it except it has Navi with back up camera. Xm. Blue tooth in the steering wheel. But it does have alloy 18 not the steel ones... now to find my paper work from the dealership I purchased it from.

Well. I ran the vin on the owners site and it doesn’t say anything about being a limited. It’s a 2011 with a bench seat in the front. The center counsel doesn’t say anything.

It appears a was duked by the dealership into paying more for a “limited” when it wasn’t. Damn.

Here’s one on my phone from a few weeks ago. I’ll get inside in a bit. I have a one year old running around the house right now.

I think the center console debacle is bc I don’t have one. It’s a seat that folds down to two compartments and a couple of cup holders. there’s no writing on them. Or I’m fucking blind. Lol

But I think it’s painfully obvious though. They pulled a fast one. Don’t ever shop DGDG auto group. And I’m not all that surprised the truck was also sold with a cracked windshield and the third brake light was out after it passed their “safety inspection” by law they had to fix the windshield. Thankfully i noticed it on our test drive.

I don’t think it’s even that. “Toyota owners” site just says “tundra grade”

Hmmmmm, mine's a SR5 but it's only mentioned in the " Factory Installed Equipment" area in the TRD option text.

What does your's build show under options?

On a plus side it shows it’s been dealer maintained from new up until I got it.

No mention of Nav or backup camera in your build. Maybe the head unit was swapped out? Is your backup camera in your tailgate release?

I can only think that your head unit was upgraded, and backup camera added, somewhere down the road.

Your build spec for the stereo is the same as mine (no screen, my backup camera image is in the mirror), so I wonder, what does your head unit look like?
