Just curious how many miles people actually got on their factory Falken Wildpeaks before needing new tires? I have 10k miles on mine, and really want to upgrade to 35s, but feel its a shame to get new tires with only 10k miles. Would feel better knowing the factory tires dont last the full 55k warranty that come actual Wildpeaks

The factory wildpeaks are not lasting people 55k miles. Get the ones you want and sell your takeoffs for a good deal for someone else. Make $4-600 back on em.

Sadly the days of them being 1200 are over. I mean I’m sure you can find the one off deal and still then pay to get them balanced and everything else but it’s more likely a $1800+ deal nowadays.

I have a 22TRD pro and mine only have 22K and I have significant wear. I’ll be lucky to get 30k. Definitely not getting those again and staying same size but not sure what to get. Ideas appreciated.

For any factory tire it seems 20k is about the norm.

Factory tires are like that first ink cartridge in the printer. Gotta have one that works, doesn’t matter how long it lasts.

My falken wildpeaks 295/70/18 (albeit on a 21 TRD Pro) just hit 77k and still look like they have plenty left. Now I’m likely to replace before winter here but they look great.

Those aren’t the factory tires. The factory Falken Wildpeaks are a different tire. More all-season than all terrain. They are reportedly not lasting very long and much less aggressive tread design.

My factory wildpeaks have 13k miles on them and they are at 4/32nd. I drive a lot of dirt roads for work but still I feel like that's a short life.

Factory Wildpeaks on my '23 1794 with 14k miles and they look like 40K. I just got my 2nd key and had it programmed yesterday and the service manager saw how little tread was left on them. He took down the tire info and was going to check on it. Apparently there are some of these tires that are wearing prematurely. He is going to get back to me about it. I'll try to keep this thread updated on what happens. But if anyone else thinks theirs are worn prematurely maybe check with your local dealer.

Wildpeaks are not going to lost long. They are made from a cheap rubber compound.

Falken's are good tires for the most part, Toyo open countrys are around 1600-1700 installed.

    Just saying

8,700 miles. Buy good tires and get a good alignment.

OEM tires, no matter what brand/model, are almost never the same as the same brand/model you would get at the tire shop. They are typically made to spec in a cooperation between the tire manufacture and the vehicle manufacture to meet CAFE standards and ride quality that they advertise in their specs and on the Monroney sticker for a bulk contract agreement. That's why they don't last as long.
