Are you able to get into Apple CarPlay? You'll have to connect your phone via USB cable (not just Bluetooth), then it should give you the option on your head unit. Once you're in CarPlay, just select Apple Maps or Google Maps.

    Yes I have 7plus..
Do I always have to have iPhone plugged in or bluetooth on to use navigation or is this for just the first time? I guess I just don't understand why it won't work with out doing this.

Yes, you always have to have your iPhone plugged in. The GPS is technically run through your phone. Honestly, though, the GPS through CarPlay (and Android Auto) is better than the built-in GPS on the higher Entune head units. You can also use Siri to input destinations, etc. The Entune GPS isn't very good, so consider yourself lucky that you have CarPlay!

Haha, thanks. You sure you're looking at my truck, though?! I really haven't done much to it. My backyard could definitely use some raking, however...

I just got a iPhone 11 Pro Max (first iPhone in several years) and I’m thinking of returning it and going back to my Galaxy 10 that I kept. I’m also planning on possibly trading for a 2020 1794 next week. With that said which phone would be better paired to the Tundra?

Correct, you have to have your phone plugged in or the navigation won't be available.

I went from iPhone to Android back in 2012 and haven't looked back. I'm not a fan of the "Apple ecosystem" locking you in. That said, iPhones are still great phones and work well for a lot of people (obviously!). I have Android Auto in my truck now and love it, but I don't think Android or iOS are necessarily better-suited than the other when it comes to pairing with the Tundra. They more or less do the same things, so it's really just a matter of what you prefer. Good luck!

I tried using apps to learn Dutch. Unfortunately, this method didn't work for me. I try to use as many sources as possible. It seems that a comprehensive system is the most effective in this case. I usually watch movies and read books in Dutch. Unfortunately, these methods are not enough to learn the language in depth. I tried to take online courses to improve my knowledge. I was advised to buy a dictionary of Dutch words and expressions and use it in my studies. I took this advice and was pleasantly surprised that such a small thing can make such a complicated process much more manageable.
