I have a brand new 2020 DC SR5 4x2. I've downloaded the apps (why so many?!?) but have been unable to find one with unlock, remote start, or vehicle locator service. Our 2019 Subaru has spoiled us with just a single app that does everyhing.

I tried searching, but no luck. Happy to follow any links anyone else is aware of.

Called Toyota. No luck. Asking the dealership if it can be added.

Not all Tundras come from factory with remote start. If yours doesn’t have it there isn’t going to be an app that can magically add that capability. You could install one yourself though, they make it pretty easy nowadays.

My 2020 Limited should be delivered this week. The ability to start via an app would be more than welcome. In VT I used remote starts for my diesels due to the cold. Now, in FL I use them to cool the car off in the summer.

I installed a Compustar system for remote start and with the Drone module, you can lock/unlock and remote start anywhere as long as the truck is in cell service range. Also alerts your phone if the alarm goes off.

How does that compare to the Viper system? I'll have to do some research!

I dunno, I've installed vipers years ago but they have changed since then.

App is awesome. It’s just the Toyota app in the App Store

I've had issue with it constantly requiring logon. Seems they sorted it out now.
You need to make sure you're registered with https://www.toyota.com/owners/ and have your vin in your profile. Then when you log on the app things should work.

Called the dealer and they said it’s not compatible with SR5 models.
