How would I find a paint code or matched color

I scuffed up one of rims on 22 Platinum. I picked up some magnetic gray metallic but it does look a little lighter. I’d like to get a touch up paint from Toyota that matches a little better. My OCD is really the only that notices it but these rims look awful when you scuff them and don’t touch it up

 

I don't think there's a paint code for the wheel paint included in the door jamb. Also, that tire is toast.

 

If it bothers you replace the wheel. It’ll never look right trying to paint it.

Are you talking the tread or the sidewall. It’s not deep on the sidewall at all

 

It’s more about structural integrity.

 

Probably worried about water intrusion and rust the steel cords.

 

The tires are pretty worn and will be replaced soon. Thank you and you all have a sharp eye

 

Go to a auto paint shop/dealer, they have a camera that will print out the paint code and mixture. They can then make you the paint in a touch up bottle , can or a aerosol spray can.

I used them to repair one of the wheels on my wife’s old car and it looked OEM for years.

 

There is no exact paint code for wheels for a body shop to match. We use an outside company to repair and refinish the wheels. It typically costs around $150.00 per wheel to repair (GA rates).
