    Hey there, I was looking at fuel wheels, specifically fuel mavericks, and for the bolt pattern for the 2014+ tundra, it says 110.3mm and I found that it says the bore size for the tundra is 110.5. I was wondering if anybody running these fuel wheels had fitting issues, or is the difference so small it pretty much seems hubcentric? thanks

    That's only .2 mm bigger so it sounds right. If it were exactly the same it would be a press fit. Can't have that on a frequently removed and installed part. But if they don't specify hub centric you may want to make sure that they are before ordering. Contact fuel and ask them.

    imo it would make more sense if the rim was a tad bigger, not a tad smaller

    for example the moto metals 970 are showing a hub bore of 110.5 which would be the same

    Oops, misread your post. Yeah, that doesn't sound right.

    i suppose the difference is prob negligible either way, because a lot of people run these wheels, just curious if anybody had any fitment issues

    My install went good. Rides great and my specs were the same as yours. 110.3. There's gotta be some wiggle room on that number and if anything a little tighter the better. Less likelihood for wobble. 5 different sites I checked that had exact fit placement including fuels website all recommend that size wheel.

    Dude I feel ya. I've asked about 2.5 billion questions over the last year. I know specs are specs but if this helps
    110.5mm = 4.3503937 in
    110.3mm= 4.3425197 in

    I read too on other threads that hub bore of 3rd Gen tundras is 110mm. The stock wheel size hub bore is 110.5. Wiggle room to get them on I suppose

    I'm on Fuel Nutz D251's and my specs show a bore of 110.3 and I have no issues whatsoever (well, except that I added flares and now I had to add wheels spacers since my +20 offset was aggressive enough).

    There is only one source of official, reliable information. The TRD USA website lists the hub bore of the rock warrior wheel, p/n PTR45-34120 (which supersedes p/n PTR45-34070) as 110mm.

    http://www.trdusa.com/parts-detail....ls=Tundra&categories=Wheels&subcategories=all

    Here are the engineering notes. Feel free to share this everywhere since everybody is speculating and nobody is quoting reliable sources of information:

    Old Part number was PTR45-34070. This is a new and improved version to help eliminate any field "clicking" issues.

    TRD 17 inch x 8.0 inch x 50 mm Forged Aluminum Off-Road Wheel with Bead Lock Styling.
    5 on 150mm P.C.D. 110 mm Center Bore. Uses TRD Conical-Seat Lug nuts 14 mm x 1.5.

    TRD wheel lugnut installation kit, PTR27-60110 is included for PPO (required and sold separately for DIO). This kit comes with 16 Spline-Drive Conical-Seat 14mm Lug Nuts with captured conical swivel washers, 1 Spline Drive Tool, 4 TRD Wheel Locks with TRD logo laser-etched on top of each Lock, and 1 TRD Wheel Lock Tool.

    All TRD Wheels are designed for use with 20 degree OE wheel sensors and fit kits. 20 degree sensors are already on OE 18 inch standard steel wheels and OE 18 and 20 inch alloy wheels. OE styled-steel wheels have 40 degree sensors and these must be discarded and replaced with 20 degree sensors when installing TRD wheels. 40 degree sensors are NOT compatible with any TRD wheels.

    I just ordered fuel assualt for my Tundra. Will the stock lug nuts work? Assaults have a center cap and worried they will be to long or to thick.

    I know this is an old post but I just measured the hub on my 2019 Tundra TRD Pro and it's exactly 110.0mm

    Having them the exact same size doesn't mean they are going to be press fit.

    Also, if the hub bore on the wheel is "a tad bigger" then it is no longer a hub-centric wheel. Hub-centric REQUIRES the wheel's hub bore to match the diameter of the hub flange, as it is the hub bore of the wheel that is meant to carry the weight of the vehicle.

    If the hub bore is even slightly larger than the hub flange, then the hub bore is not carrying any weight, and all of the weight of the vehicle is being carried by the wheel studs. While that technically works for most people, it is far from ideal. This puts lateral sheer forces on the wheel studs, which they aren't particularly strong in resisting.

    Ideally you should be able to slip for wheel on over the hub and have zero wiggle before you tighten the lug nuts. That ensures it is the hub supporting the weight of the truck and the wheel studs and lug nuts are just providing the clamping force to keep things together.

    Can anyone comment if Methods with the 110.5 mm hub bore wiggle around and are essentially lug centric? Anyone have any vibration problems with Method wheels? I was interested in getting some 316’s. I had a nightmare of a time with vibrations on my 4Runner with obviously lug centric wheels. Never stopped even road force balanced till I got TRD wheels
