Trying to find some hub centric rings for my wheels and would need to order custom I guess. My wheels are 116.5.
Pretty sure 3rd gen hubs are 110.5 but the hub ring site says the biggest they'll make is 110... so if I ordered 116.5 to 110 would I be good? I've never used rings before but I've got a little shake going at freeway speeds. Or do I have other options (not changing wheels obviously)?

I am not sure where the 110.5 mm measurement comes from. I've seen it on forums before. If you go to TRD USA and look up wheel options for a 2013 tundra (I only use this as an example because this is how I researched), you will find two rock warrior wheels. One supersedes the other. Both list the hub bore as 110 mm. We all know that RW wheels fit tundra hubs so based on that I would say try the 110 mm hub ring.

Also, what wheels are you going with? Icon states hub rings are not compatible with the center caps in the new wheel they have. I have heard reports that method standard has the same problem.

Yea icons but I don't really care about running the center caps.

Did you recheck torque on all your lug nuts. Hope not the wheels I went with the same ones you have after I saw the pics of your truck with them haha.

Yea all torqued down. It's not too bad, and I think I'm gonna take the tires for a rebalance because I didn't notice it before either, just the last week or so. Then get the rings just to make sure I'm good.

I was gonna ask about the tires being checked. Motosport-tech.com has where you put the hub size of the wheel and they machine you a set. $25 each. I'm gonna run Ko2's also. I got the lug nuts from Camburg I did a test fit and you have to make sure all is centered up good for them to go in cause of the extra length on them. I attach a pic.

ET lugs are BAD. The extended lip can break off and get stuck on the lug. Then you can't get your wheel off.

@n2deep and I spent an hour stuck on the trail trying to get a wheel off because of this.

Thanks for heads up. I'm gonna email about returning. I also didn't like that they stick out past the back of the wheel had to make sure brake disc was centered perfectly also.

And make sure your wheels are clean. Coming back from wheeling this weekend I had a pretty bad wobble at 65mph. When I got home I noticed giant clumps of mud on my wheels. Pretty sure it was from that. Gonna wash my wheels tonight and see if the wobble disappears.

This has happened on multiple vehicles - The first issue we had was on @dragos28 Truck and then again on my truck. PITFA Extended lugs suck but make sure you're using the correct ones because if not there are different problems. Like breaking off the studs and loosing a wheel going around a corner.

I explained in my email how they stick out past the wheel into the brake disc area. Waiting for a reply. I can take a pic later when I get home so you guys can see what I'm talking about.

I have no idea. I run rock warrior wheel so I have the correct hub bore. I was briefly considering switching wheels, but decided to stay with the rw

Save your money on the centric adaptors, the center bores on non hub centric wheels(most aftermarket wheels) are not machined precise enough to do any good. If they are installed/torqued correctly, you should have no issues, if you do it's gonna be poor tire balancing almost every time. If you want hub centric wheels open up the wallet and buy them, I know method can make them.
I have to use those with my Method wheels, there is not enough thread engagement without.

I debated using them, it is right at the limit of thread engagement on mine. I have longer studs, just haven't tried them yet to see if they will work.

My digital caliper showed my new-to-me third gen wheels to have a bore of 110mm.

Your lucky, I can't find a set of RW wheels that are nice. SCS wheels will replace my methods next tire time, they are hub centric.

So I washed my wheels. And yes, I only washed my wheels and not my truck. Here's what they looked like.
    IMG_3646.PNG.jpg
Got them nice and clean and took it for a spin on the freeway. Still had a bad wobble at 70mph. Came back home and found another huge clump on the inside of the wheel.
    IMG_3645.jpg
Got that off and it's back to riding smoofly again. :D

I think it's just the tires. Yea the Icon's aren't hub centric but they get wheeled hard by guys with no issue. Taking them tomorrow to get re-balanced. Honestly never had any steering wheel shake until a week or so ago. I'll probably skip the rings. So many guys run methods or other wheels that aren't hub centric and wheel them as much or more than I will and don't have issues. I'll just re-balance as needed (free at the tire shop anyways) and not worry about it for now.

I think so too or else there would be a lot of people complaining. My Methods are also 116mm. Never had issues then again I don't wheel like a madman.

Exactly. Icon is basically advertising the six speeds like they built them specifically for our trucks. If it was a serious issue it seems like they would've done something about it.

    I do!

    :rockband::headbang:

For most guys I don't think hub bore is an issue. However, I beat the sht out of my truck and I have already bent two wheels and cracked another. I'm not going to rely on the toyota lugs to hold the truck up. That's what the hub bore is for. But most guys aren't going to pound their truck like I do.

RW wheels are out there. Most guys still think they are worth $300/ wheel  I just bought a set of four last Friday for $600. Last summer, I bought a set of four for $500. Toyota isn't making them anymore so I have to bank some spares lol!
