Looking for input from those that have the hybrid only. I know the AC runs on the hybrid batteries and not belt driven. Those that have the hybrid, have you noticed if the AC Compressor, when you've got the AC running is loud? The AC Compressor is located near the front of the engine/driver side wheel well, you can see it, if you poke your head in the driver's side wheel well.

Its pretty warm up here in Canada these days, and I've had my AC full blast on cold and I can definitely hear the AC Compressor running, pretty loud actually!

AC blows and has always been blowing very cold, I'm just curious to see if the loud AC Compressor is normal

What do you mean "loud" AC compressor? I have been running my AC constantly the last few days while also towing my travel trailer in 100℉+ heat, and I have never heard the AC compressor running or "click" when engaging.

It's hard to explain honestly, it doesn't click per say, but when in "hybrid" mode, engine turned off, you can hear the AC Compressor working, it's pretty loud when I first start the truck after sitting overnight, then quiets down, but still noticeable.

Seeing the AC Compressor is not "belt" driven but probably motor/electric driven, I assume it's probably louder than your conventional AC Compressor that would be running off a belt (like most other cars).

I'll try to grab a video and post it here, next time I start the truck.

Mine is not noticeably loud at all. When the ICE engine isn’t running I’d say the truck is almost silent, even with the A/C running apart from normal fan noise if it is turned up. What does make some sound is the ventilated seats if turned up to their highest setting. Not “loud” per se, but noticeable to me.
