Hybrid battery never shows a full charge. Is this typical ?

I've had a 2024 TRD PRO for 1100 miles now. That little icon on the instrument screen has never shown that the hybrid battery is fully charged. Is this what everyone is seeing ? Or am I doing something wrong ?

Totally normal and supposed to work that way, they want it to run between 20-80% to prolong life

    just drive and be happy

Mine got almost to full once and I was shocked. Never did it again. Seems to live in the 30-80% like Borla wrote.

i've seen mine at full charge once in over 3,000 miles. Typically always has 1 to 2 bars below full charge. Used to irritate me because I could always get my wife's CRV Hybrid to full charge in various situations. Now, I don't care, I just drive it and enjoy the 19 MPG I'm getting overall.

I agree with the rest of the comments. The only time I have seen mine at 100% was coming out of the smoky mountains, where I didn't use the accelerator for 10 or so miles.

Normal for nearly all hybrids since the first Prius.
