I have a 2024 Platinum Hybrid. I just installed the pro grill kit from Yota Expedition. Why: The oem chrome grill with blue hybrid tint toyota symbol was offputting. The aftermarket kit came with amber raptor lights and an average lightbar (will upgrade to DD or Baja next round) https://yotaxpedition.com/products/pro-front-grille-tundra-2022-2025
I followed instructions and ran the raptor lights into a 5A ENG-IGR-N0.1 fuse for power on passenger side fuse box, piece of cake (minus having to run wire into top of fuse box since no way to pull from below in the hybrid).

In the instructions, YotaExp powers the lightbar with the positive terminal on the battery right next to fuse box. Since my hybrid battery is in the back, only option i see is using same fuse box as well. Running a wire back to the battery seems tougher. So i tried the fuse box, I connected it to an unmarked terminal in the diagram. Most of the unmarked give 12V readings. The lightbar powers up fine, but when i shut the truck off it stays on. The switch shuts the light off but the switch red/green indicator shows it’s constantly pulling power, which is a problem. Is there a different way to power my lightbar up? Better add a fuse setup short term until i can get wiring to battery?

You probably tapped a constant hot fuse terminal in that box and not an ignition switched fuse. I used the driver side fuse box to tap into. The open fuse area I used was ignition switched so it will only get power when the ignition is on. Since that fuse location doesn't run anything there is no need to put in the bottom fuse in the fuse tap, only the top for the item I'm powering. My truck is a hybrid also, check out my thread on mine to give you some ideas.

Makes sense... but you would think i would be able to find one unused one on the passenger side thats ignition controlled. Would be frustrating to have to rewire to the other side

You need to do use a multimeter or a 12v test light to find which one is switched. I'm sure someone will chime in on which one is ignition switched on that panel. I don't know that I'd be jamming a spade terminal in the fuse panel either, get another fuse tap and use that so you don't burn down your new truck.

Tint and wheels. Decked box in the bed. S and B Cold Air filters under the hood. Shiftpower throttle response controller.
You do realize that you could have bought a $20 cover for the blue Toyota logo? Here's a black one that I decided not to put on my truck. You can get them in chrome too. But I guess we all need an excuse to buy stuff!!!

Thanks man. I’ll give it another shot with a multimeter, but best I could tell the majority were hot. Waiting for my fuse tap to come in the mail so i can ditch the spade.

Well I guess I wanted more to just get rid of the blue tint :) Light bar, black grill, all these things appealed to me.

See the battery positive lug in the bottom left corner in your first picture, that's what I tied my DD light bar into. It's also the jump point for your truck if needed since the battery is in the back under the seats.

Most fuses have a couple of points on top to check continuity. If the fuse is hot they will read 12v to ground.

I’ve been struggling to power my Heretic Fogs. Harness did not provide enough power for the Heretic fogs and needed to be supplemented with more power on my hybrid. Thanks for pointing the positive lug out, works perfectly now….and didn’t have to go through the firewall the the underseat battery

Are you able to turn your Heretic fogs on when the ignitions off? I found the lug is always hot, my switch is ‘lit’ indicating power when ignition is off and I can also turn on the light bar when ignition is off

Yup, it is connected to the factory switch via the heretic wiring harness

I've been wanting these for my Hybrid, but don't have any idea how to get them wired up.

go on Heretic’s website and under the high power fog light section for the tundra, there is an installation video. It shows you all the parts you need (harness and special adapter cable). I called heretic and they shipped the harness and adapter to me pretty quick. I still couldn’t figure out how to hook up to power without going through the firewall and to the battery location under the seat, Until I saw this post. I hooked up to positive terminal under passenger side fuse box and it now works flawlessly
